Notary Public

Horry County Memorial Library offers free notary services at select locations. Notary services are subject to staff availability and location hours. It is suggested that you call before arriving to ensure availability.

To process a notary transaction, all required documentation and a South Carolina state identification will be required. All parties signing must be present. Documents cannot be signed in advance as all signatures must be witnessed by the Notary.  

Notaries Public are public officers of the State of South Carolina. All notaries public can decline to notarize a document for any reason and at any time.
