The Horry County Memorial Library sets the following Guest Pass policy to make the use of the Library’s public computers available to resident and non-resident customers in an efficient and equitable manner.

Visitors or non-residents of Horry County will be issued a guest pass to access the Library’s computers.

Residents who do not have a library card are encouraged to register for one but may use a guest pass to access the Library’s computers.

Residents who have a library card but have accumulated over $10 in fines may still use a guest pass to access the Library’s computers.

Guest passes are valid for one day.

All computer users must adhere to the Library’s Code of Conduct and Internet Policy. Failure to do so will result in the guest pass being revoked.

The Library reserves the right to restrict or modify guest pass access during times of peak Library use.

The Library Director is responsible for the establishment and administration of this policy.
